Vote Early and Vote Often

Vote Early and Vote Often By Riley J. Hood—Milwaukee County Constitution Party             Democrats are altering our elections, under color of law again. The AP reports. “Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and the Democratic Caucus gather to address reporters on HR 1, the For the People Act of 2021, at the Capitol in Washington, Wednesday, March 3, 2021.” AP said the Act is, “a powerful counterweight to voting rights restrictions advancing in Republican-controlled statehouses” That is socialist-speak for federal tyranny. It is called the For the People Act. It failed before, but now that the Democrats have the votes to do it, the Bill has passed the House and is on its slimy way to the US Senate. This Bill will secure Democrat power on a permanent basis. HR 1 requires states to automatically register eligible voters, as well as offer same-day registration. It would limit states’ ability to clean up their voter rolls by removing “registered voters” who have moved out of state, or who have passed away. Among dozens of other provisions, it would also require states to offer 15 days of early voting and allow no-excuse absentee balloting. The idea of absentee voting is that you have an excuse keeping you from the polls, like military deployment or hospitalization.  It would provide public financing for campaigns.  According to Congress.gov, “This bill establishes an alternative campaign funding system for certain federal offices. The system involves federal matching of small contributions for qualified candidates.” “Qualified” how? A socialist litmus test? My tax dollars are to be sent to my enemies. Thomas Jefferson said, “To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.” AP’s Brian Slodysko said the bill is, “the largest overhaul of the U.S. election law in at least a generation.” According to the Democrats, elections went just fine in 2020, so why does anything need to be overhauled? Under the rubric of rejecting “partisan gerrymandering” the term was coined to describe the district of Democrat Elbridge Gerry, and Democrat practice, this bill will set up a progressive “non-partisan boards” of socialists who will not be accountable to “the People” in any way. According to Congress.gov “The bill provides for states to establish independent, nonpartisan redistricting commissions.” The progs at Common Cause must be salivating. This bill will crackdown on people organizing and supporting campaigns, and if history is our guide, the elite will still be able to donate their millions to the Dems. For example, “Republicans are not even being coy about it. They are saying the ‘quiet parts’ out loud,” said Tiffany Muller, the president of End Citizens United. Her organization has launched a $10 million effort supporting the bill. Citizens United is evil for raising money, but Tiffany’s socialist group isn’t? Dwight Burdette, CC BY 3.0, via Wikimedia Commons Slodysko lisps about, “voting rights restrictions advancing in Republican-controlled statehouses across the country in the wake of Donald Trump’s repeated false claims of a stolen 2020 election.” Again, why the overhaul if Trump’s claims are false, and everything went oke-doke? Fact is this Bill was drafted and introduced in 2019, it isn’t a reaction to anything. “Voting rights restrictions” means the ability for socialists to vote as many times as they like. Slodysko gives away his motivations, “It also offers a test of how hard President Joe Biden and his party are willing to fight for their priorities, as well as those of their voters.” It is okay for socialists to be partisan, but not the rest of us. Affirmative action malcontents refer to voter ID and one man, one vote as voter suppression, acting as if we are under the Democrat Party auspices of 150 years ago, saying the bill, “will put a stop at the voter suppression that we’re seeing debated right now,” said Rep. Nikema Williams. According to Slodysko, “In Iowa, the legislature voted to cut absentee and in-person early voting, while preventing local elections officials from setting up additional locations to make early voting easier. In Georgia, the House on Monday voted for legislation requiring identification to vote by mail that would also allow counties to cancel early in-person voting on Sundays, when many Black voters cast ballots after church.” If black people are not allowed to vote twice, how will 10% of the population rule 100% of the Country? The Milwaukee County Constitution Party affirms that everyones' lives matter, that “All men are created equal,” and that translates into one man, one vote, one election day conducted in an open transparent manner. Anything else is “Vote Early and Vote often” Democrat Party fraud.

No Vaccine Will Cure the Pandemic of Big Brother Government

No Vaccine Will Cure the Pandemic of Big Brother Government Friends, 2020 has been a year of turmoil, loneliness and depression, and employment uncertainty. Unelected bureaucrats, like Andrea Palm in Madison and Coronavirus czar Anthony Fauci, or elected hypocrites, like Governor Newsom and Rep. Nancy Pelosi, going out while telling us to self-quarantine. Our constitutional rights were being violated – and our nation bankrupted – by both Democrats and Republicans long before the lockdown “orders” and the trillion-dollar stimulus packages. From Americans’ properties being stolen by asset-forfeiture laws, to the Supreme Court illegally making laws, to a grocery list of…

The Pre-Born Can’t Wait!

The Pre-Born Can't Wait! Madcapslaugh, Public domain, via Wikimedia Commons I started writing to the Governor of Wisconsin to stop the murder of innocent pre-born babies and enforce Wisconsin’s 940.04 Statute annually since 1992.  The first response I ever received was a form letter from Governor Walker, saying that creating 250,000 new jobs was his priority, and the Pre-Born Can’t Wait Campaign was started. Today, people are concerned about people dying from COVID-19. What about the pre-born who have their whole lives ahead of them? If we restored the Moral Order first, that would go a long way toward restoring the…

An Open Letter to Governor Evers Regarding “Emergency Order 1”

An Open Letter to Governor Evers Regarding “Emergency Order 1”by Mark Gabriel, July 31, 2020 I have read the Email that you and your Lt Governor have sent out today, regarding your Emergency Order requiring all Wisconsinites wear masks due to this Chinese virus, called Covid-19. This “plague,” as you referred to it by description, is to go into effect on August 1st. My response follows: You say that the order is justified based on science. The medical and scientific community is far from united with the idea that masks are necessary for preventing the spread of this China virus.…

Lessons from the Freedmens Bureau (1865-1872)

By Dan Herro On Tuesday, June 23, 2020, the State Capitol statues of Colonel Hans Christian Heg and “Forward”, our State Motto, were torn down during a day of violent protests and damaging riots. This was part of a larger national (and even international, as we have seen recently) left-wing movement against alleged institutionalized racism in the US and as a response to the arrest of a man wielding a baseball bat in a Madison restaurant earlier that day. Col. Heg was a Norwegian immigrant and abolitionist from Muskego who fought for the Union Army during the Civil War. Col.…

The Republican Party, Conservatives, and The Bare Minimum

As chairman of a party on the right of the political spectrum, I get asked from time to time why it appears that I am more critical of the Republican Party than the Democrat Party. It’s because I am. I don’t expect better from pro-abortion, pro-same-sex “marriage”, pro-big government, pro-multiple gender Democrats; if you listen, they have told you exactly what they want to impose on America. It’s elected Republicans and party leaders who have said repeatedly they are the party of 1) limited government 2) tax fairness 3) family values 4) traditional marriage, and 5) fiscal responsibility.I expect more…

Navigating Covid-19 But Leaving Americans’ Liberties Intact

In the management of the current national crisis involving the Covid-19 virus, the actions of the Federal Government are unprecedented and violate the Constitution of the United States in many ways. First and foremost though, our hearts and prayers go out to our fellow Americans who have lost loved ones and friends the past few months, either from the virus itself or in other ways related to the virus, including those suffering from depression or something similar and whose lives ended tragically too soon. The government’s cure is certainly proving to be more deadly than the disease. Secondly, the Federal…

Oh A Lot of Wind!

"How long will thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind?" Job 8:2 By Riley J. Hood—Milwaukee County Constitution Party             I was working at a company 11 years ago called Milwaukee Gear.  The depression was hitting and every day another worker was being laid off, but the leadership was staking their future on wind energy.  I sat in a politically correct meeting where all I heard was "wind this" and "wind that." As I knew a bit about the green energy scam, I asked if Milwaukee Gear was getting any subsidies from…
