For Immediate Release – June 20, 2018 The Constitution Party of Wisconsin is pleased to announce that Terry Larson, the party’s Communications Director, is the Constitutionalist candidate for Wisconsin Attorney General. As Attorney General, Terry Larson will oppose the enforcement of Supreme Court opinions as “the law of the land”. He will stop same-sex marriages which are not legal in our state, take action against anyone who damages or removes any veterans’ or Civil War memorials or monuments, and see federal immigration laws and/or similar state laws enforced. “I will fight the infringement of all constitutional rights, especially the right…

Communism Is Still Alive Communism

Communism Is Still Alive

Riley J. Hood — Chairman, Milwaukee County Constitution Party     “Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them and which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.” Hebrews 13:3 Before the fall of the USSR and the Berlin Wall, you had over 40 nations in the Warsaw Pact, and Communist regimes were brutal persecutors of Christians.  The late Rev. Richard Wurmbrand was “Tortured for Christ,” in Romania, and when he escaped to America, he had to contradict the neo-evangelical Billy Graham, who said there was no persecution in Communist controlled nations. While there may not be…

Congressional Control Over SCOTUS

Riley J. Hood – Chairman, Milwaukee County Constitution Party “The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest of men are exalted.” Psalm 12:8 It is past time for Congress to assume responsibility and do their jobs. Regarding the tyranny that is the United States Supreme Court (SCOTUS), Congress can legislate exceptions to federal appellate jurisdiction. The Constitution says regarding jurisdiction (Article 3, Section 3, Clause 2) “In all the other cases before mentioned, the Supreme Court shall have appellate Jurisdiction both as to law and fact, with such Exceptions and under such Regulations as the Congress shall make.” Note that…

“It’s Just a Stupid Cake!”  Fine, Design It Yourself Then!

Last December, the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) heard opening remarks on a case of Colorado baker Jack Phillips who back in 2012 refused to create a wedding cake for a same-sex couple.  The couple filed a complaint with the Colorado Civil Rights Commission. According to the Reuters© article, SCOTUS will be deciding “whether Phillips action was constitutionally protected and he can avoid punishment for violating Colorado’s anti-discrimination law.” The case will be decided next June. Let’s focus on the far more dangerous nonsense that has been foisted on the American people, that a state-created civil rights commission can override the 1st…

Republicans, You Only Want to Talk About Economic Issues? OK, You Asked For It! Finances

Republicans, You Only Want to Talk About Economic Issues? OK, You Asked For It!

Republicans are always saying, “Social issues are a distraction from the real issue of creating jobs and growing the economy.” Here is the dirty little truth – The Republican Party is at war with itself. There is a death struggle going on in the GOP between economics-only neocons and a dwindling number of social conservatives/evangelicals who should quite frankly come up out of the Republican Party and join the Constitution Party.   If Republicans only want to talk about economic issues, fine. Let’s do it. “What is your timetable for ending the Federal Reserve, Republicans?”   Either Republicans support or…

Governor Scott Walker’s 2018 State of the State Address: No Time for Moral Issues…Ever!

Governor Scott Walker’s 2018 State of the State Address: No Time for Moral Issues…Ever! By Andrew Zuelke, Chairman, Constitution Party of Wisconsin On January 24th, Governor Scott Walker gave his State of the State (SOTS) address to the legislature (see https://walker.wi.gov/2018-wisconsin-state-state-address). Not one minute was allocated in the SOTS for any social issue. The governor had time to talk about everything else - how Wisconsin is “number one in cheese, cranberries and ginseng” and he had time to mention travelwisconsin.com twice - but social issues, the Moral Order? No time for that. Social conservatives and evangelicals, when you see your…

The Witch at Endor

The Witch at Endor By Riley J. Hood—Milwaukee County Constitution Party “Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her and enquire of her.  And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman, that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.” I Samuel 28:7             The account of Saul and the Witch at Endor has generated commentary about King Saul’s lax enforcement of the law: Mathew Henry states: “It was his duty as a king to punish her and he knew it, yet he swears not to…

Divine Judgment on Roe v Wade Life

Divine Judgment on Roe v Wade

Divine Judgment on Roe v Wade By Riley J. Hood—Chairman, Milwaukee County Constitution Party “The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.” Psalm 19:9             Roe v Wade was handed down by the Supreme Court of the United States on January 22, 1973.  People say there was no Divine Judgment, yet I assure judgment was swift.  The same day, former President Lyndon Baines Johnson died.  The next day, January 23rd, 1973; we announced our plans to pull out of Vietnam.  Later that year, we were hit with the OPEC Oil Embargo.  President Nixon, who…

The Pre-Born Can’t Wait!

“Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thy hand to do it.” Proverbs 3:27               Governor Walker: On this awful 45th anniversary of the Roe v Wade Supreme Court decision, (January 22nd, 1973) We are asking you to put your pro-life views into action; by enforcing Wisconsin’s anti-abortion statute in defiance of the Supreme Court precedent.  If enforced, 940.04 will stop the murder of the innocent pre-born in Wisconsin.  The Constitution Party of Wisconsin calls upon our state officials to fulfill their obligations as lesser magistrates to uphold the U.S. Constitution and the…
