Due to the irresponsibility and selfishness of both Democrats and Republicans (past and present) in Congress, our nation's debt is currently 36+ trillion dollars and climbing. Neither major party can feign ignorance and say, "How could anyone have foreseen this nation's debt growing so large?"

It is the fervent hope of the Constitution Party that Republicans in Congress, after decades of promises to do so, will follow through on their campaign promises of eliminating the many unconstitutional agencies and will restore our federal government to its permitted funding duties. However, minimize and eliminate are not the same. Now, which is it?
