In a segment of a recent Matt Walsh Show, the host comments on what he calls the “lonely man” video, originally posted to TikTok by a woman who “transitioned” to a man.  At first glance, the video appears to show a forlorn young man eating alone at a restaurant.  The caption placed on the video by the poster reads:

“You don’t know lonely until you have to take urself for that meal alone because sitting in a room with strangers is better than sitting in your own thoughts in an empty room.”

Matt Walsh’s Commentary

Matt Walsh then offers his commentary on the video, pointing out that the effort of a woman to become a man goes far beyond the hormones and surgeries that the modern medical elite offer as a “promised land” of straightforward “gender reassignment.”  He focuses on the weightier element of the social and emotional transition.  He said, in part:

They’re never going to be a male, but they may experience a small sliver of the thing . . . they may get close enough to stand in its shadow, ever so briefly.  Because if a woman goes through with the medical transition, she probably will be allotted some tiny portion of the social experience of being a man . . . she will get a small, diluted sip of the cup of manhood . . . this small sip will prove to be way too much . . .  it destroys her. . . . It’s lonely to be a man.  It’s a kind of loneliness that women, as the softer, more sociable, more relational sex, simply aren’t built to endure. . . . What happens when a woman tries to come play in our sandbox; what happens when she takes a small dose of our medicine; what happens when she tries to carry the burden of manhood?  Well, exactly what you would expect.  I mean, it breaks her.  . . . Now, about that video of that trans female, somebody on X put it this way, ‘that this is a woman experiencing male social isolation without the male psychology that makes it survivable’. . . . This is perhaps the deepest truth about the trans phenomenon which is rarely said.”

Half a Brain?

I have long thought (and said in the privacy of my own home) that of all the elective surgeries that attempt to make a female more like a male, the one no one is yet willing to consider, but would come the closest to achieving maleness, would be to have half her brain removed.  This is only partially said in self-deprecating jest.  Dr. Ben Carson pioneered the hemispherectomy surgery, where an entire hemisphere of the brain would be removed in order to resolve severe seizure issues.  This radical approach yielded much success for these patients.  Surprisingly, a person can function perfectly well with half a brain.  The other side of the brain takes over the vital functions that the other would perform, and the seizure-causing malignancy in the communication between the hemispheres is eliminated.

Female brains are wired differently than male brains.  A female thinks with both sides of her brain simultaneously.  The logical and emotional sides of the brain are so tightly integrated that a woman wanting to become more like a man via puberty blockers or “gender reassignment” surgery cannot escape this influence.  There are two types of hemispherectomies.  A functional hemispherectomy disconnects the hemispheres by removing the connecting tissue between the hemispheres, the anatomical hemispherectomy removes an entire hemisphere.  Would some woman be willing to undergo one of these procedures to break the link?  It would give a whole new meaning to “top surgery.”  It used to be a taboo subject to ask for such drastic elective surgery without a true medical need, but transgender clinics have now given us a new breed of Dr. Frankenstein physicians willing to perform castrations, mastectomies, and hysterectomies of completely healthy tissue, along with a whole host of ghoulish reconstructions, so perhaps one could be found to offer this procedure electively as well.

Female-to-male Transitions More Common

Those who dig into the statistics of the gender-confused population point out that it is far more common for a woman to want to transition to a man than for a man to desire to become a woman.  This seems hard to believe given the media focus on men invading women’s sports and the mainstream media’s lionizing of “courageous” transgenders such as Bruce/Caitlin Jenner.  However, in the milieu of pre-pubescent females, especially in the public school and social media spheres, “ugly duckling” self-assessments are magnified and the “solution” of just ditching this womanhood thing is seen as a lifeline and a path to wholeness on a whole other side of life.

People may object that even some men don’t handle the stress of manhood very well, which is true.  This could be a factor in the violent nature of the typical unhinged male.  This could also be a factor in the violent nature of some females who attempt to live as a male.  A spate of female to male transgenders making the news as active shooters has raised concern.

Walsh is right that the influence of innate gender characteristics is a factor that is rarely discussed.  Such talk has been made a proverbial “third rail” that no one dares to touch to avoid the fury of the feminist movement and the disgust of a general population that has bought into decades of feminist indoctrination.  Unfortunately, if we are too fearful to broach this subject, we are leaving out one of the most significant factors at play here.
